I was fortunate to be chosen to test a new pattern for Blank Slate Patterns this month. This skirt is called Daintree. It's a flirty wrap skirt designed for lighter weight woven fabrics. Although the weather didn't want to cooperate for my final submission photos, I do have to say that playing twirl-a-skirt in the snow was FUN! The skirt is a simple sew and a delight to wear because: 1) I'm itching for dress/skirt/capri weather, and 2) No Wardrobe Malfunction design! Yep, you heard right. I can walk, sit, and even twirl in this skirt without flashing any more of me than I intend to.
My darling sister informed me today that I've been sorely neglecting my sewing blog. Since that can only mean that she visits to check it out, I'll have to say that she is right! Thanks, 'Syblynn', for the push. This one's for you!

Pulled out my old tablet and found your blog. Keep sewing Cheryl. Remember how hard it was for me to get to any sewing projects? I just made a pillow case out of "boy and girl" vintage fabric for my grandson. I miss seeing you. You inspired me soooo much! Teresa
